The official Outlook for Android recently received a major update, which brings many new features for all users of Microsoft's email service.
With over 10 million downloads on Google Play, Outlook is undoubtedly one of the most popular apps for Android devices. However, Microsoft still has a lot of work to do to make the user experience smoother.
With an overall rating of 3.7 out of 5.0, the app does not currently seem to fully meet users' requirements, but through regular updates, which add new features and improve the overall performance of the app, the app continuously improves.
One of the most important new features of the upgraded app appears to be unlimited synchronization of email history, for full access to them without connection. This means that Android users will now be able to obtain offline access to their emails, after fully synchronizing their history.
Additionally, the recent update brings a server-side search capability, providing easy access to all emails, and not only those that have been synchronized with the phone.
Finally, users will now be able to send emails from Outlook.com using aliases.
You can download the latest version of Outlook.com for Android for free via the Google Play Store.
