Well-known hacker for “teasing” mobile operating systems, George “Geohot” Hotz, has announced a new tool that allows rooting the Galaxy S5 and other Android smartphones in an easy way.
The new software tool is called towelroot and supports all versions of Android up to 4.4.2.
There have been many attempts to simplify the root process (such as Kingo Root) with just one click, but this particular effort has the name-guarantee of the well-known XDA, Geohot.
The application works like a virus - exploit, but without causing problems on the mobile phone or the operating system.
An exploit is a program that takes advantage of a weakness in the system it runs on and gives us some results that we normally shouldn't get.
You can download the application for free (although Geohot encourages you to make a donation) from the official site here.
In any case, if you decide to root your phone, you should remember that the process may cause malfunctions or even damage to your device, and its warranty will also be voided.
