Yahoo and Vevo have decided to expand their collaboration through an agreement that will bring brand new videos, live concert events and other music events to the Yahoo Screen service .
According to an official announcement from the two companies, users in Canada and the US will gain access to Vevo. Later, the partnership is expected to expand to several more countries: the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
Rio Caraeff, president and CEO of Vevo, said the renewed partnership with Yahoo will make Vevo's music videos available to more music lovers.
“Yahoo is one of our biggest partners, and our launch on Yahoo Screen – and soon in many more countries and platforms – is a big win for users who want to watch their favorite music videos anytime, anywhere.”
The two companies' initial agreement, first announced in November, involved the availability of more than 75,000 music videos on Yahoo Screen, Yahoo Celebrity and Omg! in the UK.
