Many more airlines are expected to add their own support in the coming months. This list includes Air Canada, American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United Jetstar, Lufthansa, Qantas, and Virgin Australia.
The improved boarding pass experience will allow users to track their flight via live activity. However, the tipster in the report explains that users must opt in to live activity within Wallet (it's not an automatic addition).
Sharing your flight tracking with others allows the other person's iPhone to display live activity of the flight itself. However, they won't be able to see the boarding group or the passenger's seat number.
The new boarding passes also include the option to view the airport map, where this feature is supported. Access to Find My, to facilitate baggage tracking and reporting of lost baggage.
