Gerry McGovern, Jaguar’s chief design officer, said: “When Jaguar was at its peak, it defied design conventions, creating iconic models like the E-Type and the XJS… objects of desire.” The Type 00 continues that legacy, paving the way for the next generation of Jaguar.
The Type 00’s design impresses with its details: 23-inch wheels, an oval steering wheel, three bronze bars adorning the interior, butterfly doors and an exquisite stone center console that separates the seats. Of particular note is the innovative Lincoln Nautilus-style display, which is discreetly positioned along the windshield. When the main interior displays are retracted, this thin display remains, enhancing the sense of a futuristic and minimalist design.
