Testut is best known as the creator behind GBA4iOS, an open-source emulator that has been around for a little over a decade. GBA4iOS spawned Delta, an emulator that was initially only available outside the App Store, but has now been approved by Apple.
Delta is an all-in-one emulator that offers support for a wide range of gaming systems, including NES, SNES, N64, Nintendo DS, Game Boy , and Game Boy Advance. It is compatible with popular game controllers and offers features such as cheat codes, saving game progress, backup management, synchronization, and more. As the long-term project of Testut, Delta is distinguished by its sophisticated and feature-rich implementation, surpassing other emulators in quality and functionality.
Available features include custom controller interfaces, fast-forwarding, a dedicated “hold” button for games that require a continuous button press, support for Haptic Touch, and matching box art for imported games. In addition, there is the ability to play multiplayer games with up to four people.
Recently, Apple gave the green light to iGBA, an app that is a faithful reproduction of Testut's original GBA4iOS. iGBA managed to reach the top of the most popular apps on the App Store, until Apple decided to remove it after discovering that the app was undesirable.
