Helldivers 2's next Premium Warbond is called Democratic Detonation and includes new weapons, armor, and more, Sony has announced.

Democratic Detonation, as described on the PlayStation Blog and Steam Community News Blog, includes several new weapons, boosters, and armor pieces, as well as new cosmetics. Among the points of interest are an Exploding Crossbow, a Grenade Pistol, and the Expert Extraction Pilot Booster, which reduces the time it takes for the extraction ship to reach the extraction point.
As with previous Premium Warbonds, Democratic Detonation is expected to cost 1,000 Super Credits. While you can earn Super Credits through gameplay and the Warbond itself, you can also purchase them with real money. Through the in-game store, 1,000 Super Credits cost $9.99. Premium Warbonds do not expire, so you can use them at your own pace with the assurance that their items will remain available.

Of course, you always get to leverage your armor selection with new capes – Harbinger of True Equality, Eagle's Fury, or Freedom's Tapestry – as you put together your deadly gear of liberation.

Helldivers 2 has been one of the surprises of 2024 since its release in February, topping the charts on Steam and reportedly selling around 3 million copies. According to at least one analyst, it's still growing.
