The Modern Warfare 3 beta has already fallen victim to hackers, despite its PlayStation exclusivity .

Modern Warfare 3 is in the midst of an open beta, exclusively for PlayStation players. The beta covers a wide range of topics, showing fans what's next in the historic Call of Duty.
Many new features, such as Battle Rage, are now available in beta, while beloved modes and maps return, giving MW3 a promising profile.
However, one feature that wasn't pleasant was the cheaters. The recent wave of players who had access to the beta has ruined the experience for many.

Hackers affecting the Modern Warfare 3 beta
The MW3 beta launched the first weekend of October. Initially, it was only available to players who had pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3, but it was later opened up to those who hadn't pre-ordered. It's worth noting that the beta was only available to PlayStation players. It should be noted that hackers were already a problem, which made it even more complicated.
Within hours of the floodgates opening for players without pre-orders, videos of cheaters ruining the experience for other players have surfaced. PS4 players with jailbroken consoles are the prime suspects
Players were quick to comment on this unjustified scam with the top comments revealing the negative representations of PC players regarding the scam.
Call of Duty players are accusing PC crossplay of being dishonest and breaking the rules. This has been a topic of discussion for some time, as one Twitter.
Another player commented in defense of PlayStation players: "However, for Warzone and ranked play, those playing on PC are the only players. This is the first time I've seen ps4 actually do anything."

Regardless of platform, cheating in Call of Duty has been a problem for some time. To combat it, Activision released its own anti-cheat software called Ricochet last year.

However, it seems that the system is not perfect as shown above. Hackers have been a problem for CoD developers in recent years and it seems that they are not going to give up anytime soon, even if it requires modifying a console to achieve it.
