Apple announced macOS Sonoma in a recent keynote at WWDC 2023.The public beta is now available, and if you've installed the pre-release version of macOS Sonoma on Mac only to realize you want to revert to the stable version of macOS Ventura, you can do so as soon as possible.

macOS Sonoma brings many new features, improvements, and changes to the Mac, but at the same time it introduces many bugs compared to the stable version.
So, if you're experiencing issues like reduced battery life , functionality issues with macOS Sonoma beta, and are looking for a way to revert your Mac to the stable Ventura version, here's how you can do it.
Follow these steps to revert to Ventura.

- Start by completely shutting down your Mac
- Now restart it by pressing and holding the power button. For Macs , press the power button and then hold down Command-R.
- A screen will appear . Select the “ Options ” button and click “ Continue ”.
- You will be prompted to enter your user account password.
- Do not select the option to reinstall macOS if offered. Instead, click “Disk Utility” and then click “Continue.”
- Select the top level of the hard drive that appears, and then click “Delete.”

- Give a name for your Mac and click the “Erase” button again.
- Confirm your decision to delete the data by clicking “ Yes ” twice .
- When prompted, choose a Wi-Fi to connect to on your Mac.
- After a short moment, your Mac will become active and you can click “Exit” to exit Recovery mode.
- Now, select the “Reinstall macOS Ventura” option.

After you complete the erase process and enter recovery mode, you will be able to download and install macOS Ventura. Note that this download is approximately 12 GB in size, and this may take a few hours, depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
