Capcom has announced the full list of characters that will be playable in the upcoming Open Beta for Street Fighter 6. Ahead of its release early next month, Capcom will be doing one last test of the newest Street Fighter game to ensure it's ready to be released worldwide. And if you're interested in taking part in this latest demo, you can expect a variety of new and returning Street Fighter fighters to be available for playtesting.

Which characters are available in the Open Beta?
Similar to the Closed Beta that Capcom for Street Fighter 6 in late 2022, a total of eight characters will be accessible in this upcoming Open Beta. These characters specifically happen to include:
- Luke
- Jamie
- Ryu
- Chun-Li
- Guile
- Kimberly
- Yuri
- Ken
Beyond these eight characters, the Open Beta will let players experience battles across six different stages. The character creator, ranked matches, casual matches, training mode, and a host of other game features will also be accessible in this beta. If that wasn't enough, cross-platform play will also be enabled, allowing players from different platforms to experience this Open Beta together. Overall, Capcom is offering a deep look at what the final version of Street Fighter 6 will contain when it releases.

When does the open beta start?
If you want to take part in latest Beta for Street Fighter 6, you can do so this weekend starting on Friday, May 19 and running until Sunday, May 21.The beta will also be available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms, although those with the latest-generation PlayStation 4 will not be able to take part.
As for the full release of Street Fighter 6, the latest addition to the long-running fighting game franchise will be released next month, on June 2. It will be playable on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
