In recent hours, reports have been circulating claiming that OnePlus intends to release its first foldable smartphone in August 2023. This news was made known by Max Jambor, who often shares information related to OnePlus.
OnePlus said earlier this year that it was planning to release its first foldable smartphone this year. However, it didn't specify when exactly. If this rumor is true, we won't have to wait that long. The phone will be available in a few months.

We don't yet know if the company is planning to release one or two foldable phones .There's a possibility that it could release a book-style foldable, but OnePlus did mention two names earlier this year. The names OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip have been trademarked.
“Fold” refers to a book-style foldable smartphone, while “Flip” refers to a clamshell foldable. It remains to be seen what OnePlus’ plans are and when each will be released.
However, it is certain that the company will face competition in the market. More and more foldable smartphones from various companies in the global markets. Although the competition is more intense in China, it is good to see more devices reaching the global markets as well.
