Today, OnePlus introduced the second version of its affordable headphones called Nord Buds 2. While it costs a little more than last year's model (50%), you get quite a few improvements in return for your investment!
The new model retains many of the original's features, but makes a few changes and adds active noise cancellation (ANC) to the equation. However, its price is higher, at $59.
The Nord Buds 2 take it to the next level with 12.4mm titanium drivers and active noise cancellation (up to 25dB) so you can block out all the annoying ambient noise. With a simple switch, they also offer transparency mode – giving you the ability to choose which soundscapes enter your world! Additionally, OnePlus claims that AI technology is used to boost bass frequencies without losing clarity or distorting sound quality – providing an overall superior listening experience.

Responding to customer feedback, OnePlus has improved call clarity with the 2022 Nord Buds . The dual-microphone system is complemented by an AI algorithm that amplifies your voice, reduces background noise, and improves overall call quality. They also feature AAC codec support for enhanced Dolby Atmos audio , as well as customizable touch control options. Plus, they’re IP55 water and dust resistant to ensure they’ll last through any adventure you take them on!
OnePlus it made a significant change to the design of its case. At the time of its release, many commented that the original variant had very sharp edges that could easily cut through any fabric placed inside it – pockets or bags. Thankfully, this newer version has softened those edges at the top and bottom, eliminating any worries about ruining your clothes.

The company promises that the headphones' battery will provide up to seven hours of use per charge, and a total of 36 hours when active noise cancellation (ANC) is not in use. You can also reportedly get an additional five hours with just 10 minutes of charging, again with ANC turned off.
To set up and update your OnePlus headphones, the companion app is a must. Fortunately, modern OnePlus phones come with pre-installed support for their own headphone products. Additionally, some special features are built into this UI that you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re using a non- OnePlus phone – simply download the HeyMelody app from the respective app stores. Even without using the app in question – it’s still definitely possible to connect via Bluetooth only . although any reconfiguration of the settings is not accessible under these circumstances.
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are a great choice for those looking for great sound quality on a budget. With the series' first upgrade to ANC and the latest Bluetooth, they provide a great listening experience at an affordable price. Plus, their quick pairing technology makes them easy to use in no time.
Now available in two colors, white and gray, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 can be purchased for just $60. To get these comfortable earbuds today, visit the OnePlus or Amazon!
