There will be no new updates released this month for Windows 10, 11, 8, or any supported server versions.
Please note that this only applies to optional updates, not security fixes that had already been released since the previous Tuesday.
Microsoft's Patch Tuesday is held every second Tuesday of the month to release security updates for all supported versions of Windows, Office , and other Microsoft products. Patch Tuesday has been a common practice since 2003 and is an important part of maintaining computer systems to protect them from malware , viruses, and other cyber threats . Overall, Microsoft Patch Tuesday is an invaluable tool for keeping your computer system secure and up-to-date with the latest security patches.

There will be no non-security preview release for the month of December, due to limited functionality during the holidays and the upcoming Western New Year. A monthly security release (known as build “B”) is already scheduled for December 2022. Microsoft said that regular monthly servicing for both builds B and C will resume in January 2023.
According to Microsoft, updates and bug fixes will continue next month with Patch Tuesday. Patch Tuesday includes not only security fixes, but also fixes from previous optional updates.

It's important to note that optional updates often cause damage to the operating system, so it's good practice to avoid them altogether, if possible.
