Elon Musk has suddenly stopped tweeting. It's been more than a week since the Tesla and SpaceX boss last posted a tweet, and users are wondering why it has disappeared.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc. who just surpassed 100 million followers on Twitter and is generally an avid user of the platform, hasn't posted anything in nine days.
Musk's last tweet was posted on June 21. This tweet was a response to a post about the battle between SpaceX and the FCC over Starlink, the company's internet-first space program.
A day later, on June 22, Mr. Musk liked a number of posts. Some of them were about his attempt to take over Twitter.
But since that day, exactly a week ago, Mr. Musk has not posted anything on the platform. He has not made any announcement about a possible departure , and he has not explained what exactly is happening.

Mr. Musk is one of Twitter's most well-known users and is a very active user of the platform. Before his inexplicable silence, he had been posting at least once a day for more than a month.
However, this isn't the first time he's left Twitter. In recent years, he's repeatedly announced that he'll stop using the platform — and usually returns within a few days.

The silence comes amid growing scrutiny of both Twitter and Mr. Musk’s use of it. Musk is moving closer to completing the deal, but he has continued to say that the site has more fake accounts than it publicly admits . The deal has been approved by Twitter shareholders
Maybe the CEO just has more important things to do right now than post memes on Twitter.

Mr. Musk also stopped tweeting after SpaceX employees published an open letter criticizing him for his constant tweets and the impact he had on the company.
Soon after, it was reported that SpaceX fired some of the employees involved in organizing the letter.
