1Password is trying to solve the situation where you go to log in to a website and wonder something like “was I logged in with Google, Apple, or a real email and password combination?” The company announced that the password manager will let you save which single sign-on (SSO) service you used on a website, so you can log in with the same account when you return. The feature comes as major companies prepare a campaign against passwords as a concept.
According to a post, the feature is currently available in the beta version of 1Password for the browser and currently supports signing in with Facebook, Google , and Apple. 1Password says it will add more providers in the future.
