The Pixel 6 series appears to be suffering from yet another bug that affects phone calls. Affected users aren't even seeing a missed call notification on their phone, and some users have complained that phone calls are automatically being rejected. However, Google has yet to acknowledge the issue, and a fix is likely to be delayed.
The Google Pixel 6 series never seems to run out of bugs, and the latest one seems to be a major source of concern, especially if you rely heavily on phone calls during the day. The device apparently randomly drops calls without your knowledge.

According to a growing number of users complaining on Reddit, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are automatically rejecting certain phone calls from their saved contacts without their devices even notifying them of the bug (via Phone Arena).

It's a particularly annoying bug on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, as you might miss important calls from a doctor, for example, as one Redditor experienced. Phone calls, according to this user, go straight to voicemail without the device ringing.
What makes matters worse is the lack of a missed call notification. To the surprise of affected users, the call log shows a history of attempted calls that were marked as rejected, despite the fact that no phone calls ever reached their screen.
It should be noted that the problem persists even after disabling every possible setting that could affect phone calls, including Do Not Disturb and Wi-Fi Calling .

It seems that this Pixel 6/Pixel 6 Pro call bug has been plaguing owners of Google since December of last year, as evidenced by this previous Reddit thread.
The search giant continues to fail to acknowledge the bug and there currently appears to be no solution available.
