A week after releasing the third beta, Apple is releasing iOS 15.4 beta 4 to developers and public beta testers. The company is also offering a new beta of iPadOS 15.4.

iOS 15.4 beta 4
The new iOS 15.4 beta is available to developers via an over-the-air update in the Settings app. It often happens that the update does not appear immediately, as it sometimes takes a few minutes to be released to all registered developers. In this case, developers are asked to check back until the update appears for download. The build number of iOS 15.4 beta 4 is 19E5235a.

The new iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 releases include several new features for iPhone and iPad users. For iPhone users, there is now support for Face ID while users are wearing a mask. iPadOS 15.4 also includes the long-awaited Universal Control feature. In addition, there are over 30 new emoji, changes to iCloud Keychain , and more.
The release of iOS 15.4 beta 3 last week included some minor tweaks to these new features, as well as changes to Emergency SOS, Apple Podcasts, and Universal Control.

iOS 15.4 is expected to be released in mid-March. Bloomberg recently reported that Apple wants to release the new version of the operating system sometime in the first half of March. That could be true considering some reports that Apple is planning to hold a virtual event on March 8.
