Google is bringing the dinosaur game to Apple's iPhones as an iOS widget that you can add to your home screen.

When Google Chrome can't access the internet, it displays a game with a dinosaur jumping up and down and over obstacles while you wait for the internet to fix. This game is also known as Dino-Run, the Dino Game, T-Rex Runner, or even "Steve the Dinosaur Game.".

With the release of Chrome 91 Beta for iOS, iPhone and iPad users can now add the dinosaur game as a widget to their home screen.
Unfortunately, you can't play the game directly from the widget, and clicking on it simply opens Google Chrome to the chrome://dino page, as shown below. Based on Google's bug report for this widget, it's unlikely they'll add gameplay directly from the widget.

While the Google Chrome widget is cute, for the best dinosaur game experience, the “Steve – Widget Game” app is the one you should install, as it allows you to play the game from within the widget itself.
