Microsoft has released updates for Microsoft Office (March 2020) that bring improvements and fixes for the Windows Installer (MSI) versions of Office 2013 and Office 2016.

For example, the updates fix a Microsoft Office 2016 bug that affects Skype for Business users .
Office updates are available for download through Microsoft's Update serviceor, through the Download Center where users install the updates manually.
Before you can receive new updates, you may need to have previous updates installed on your devices, such as Service Pack. For example, the Microsoft Office 2013 update requires Microsoft Office 2013 Service Pack 1 to be installed.
March 2020: Office updates
Some of the Office updates apply to specific programs , such as Skype for Business. Other updates improve or fix issues that affect the entire Microsoft Office 2016 suite of applications.
Additionally, these Microsoft Office updates do not apply to Click-to-Run of Office applications, such as Microsoft Office 365 Home.

Some Office updates require a system restart
Before you install Microsoft Office updates, you should know that you may need to restart computer to complete the installation.
If you see that the updates are not working properly, you can remove them by following these steps:
- Go to Start, type "View installed updates" in the Search box, and then press Enter.
- In the list of updates, locate and select the problematic update and select "Uninstall.".
