How to install the Beta version of OxygenOS?
First you need to install OxygenOS Open Beta.
- Go to the OxygenOS software upgrade page on your device, from the official website.
- Select your device from the list of devices on the website.
- Select the “Beta Build” available at the top of the page and click the “Download” button.
- A zip file called “OnePlus5TOxygen_43_OT_…” will be downloaded to your device.
Now you can proceed to install the Beta version.
- Go to the “ File Manager ” app on your OnePlus device and open the downloaded beta file by going to the “ Downloads ” section.
- Long press on the zip file and a checkbox will appear in front of the file name.
- Then, tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen and select “Cut” from there.
- You will automatically be taken to the parent directory of your smartphone.
- Click on the internal storage option and then tap on the 'Paste' option.
- To install the OxygenOS beta, go to Settings > System > System updates.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen and tap on the “Local upgrade” option.
- Tap the file displayed on the screen.
- A message box will appear, where you should select “Upgrade now”.
You will need to restart smartphone and the update will start automatically. Once the installation process is complete, OxygenOS will be installed on your device.
