Edge Chromium is coming to Linux systems too

Yes Edge Chromium for Linux too: As you may already know, the Microsoft Edge is currently available on all modern versions of Windows (from Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10) as well as on MacOS systems.

However, the browser development team seems to be trying to release a version for Linux systems.

Edge Chromium

Sean Larkin, Technical Program Manager on the Edge browser team, made a post on Twitter inviting users to participate in a survey about Linux. The survey includes a question about how users expect to install the Edge browser.

Microsoft previously mentioned that it would release a Linux version of the browser, but we haven't heard anything since.

If you're a Linux user and want to get Microsoft's browser on Linux, you can join the survey.

The new Edge is already available in all channels (Beta, Dev, and Canary) for all currently supported operating systems.

The release date of the Linux version is not yet known.
