NVIDIA is expected to release a new GPU this month, with previous reports saying it's the entry-level GeForce GTX 1650. This time, new information and images have surfaced for a notebook, detailing the performance of not only the GTX 1650, but also Intel.
The leak was released by the Twitter user @momomo_us. The post itself does not contain hidden messages, but it contains an Imgur link, which contains many slides. The slides are all in Chinese, but if we judge by the fonts used and by one of the slides, these images come from MSI.
The notebook that will host this GPU is the MSI GL63. In addition to the two components, the laptop will also come with DDR4 RAM 16GB memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD.
The second slide is the one that gives us a little more information about the GTX 1650 that “inhabits” the notebook. Again, it is in Chinese, but it is clear that it looks at the GPU that has 4GB, which is likely the GDDR5 memory. It operates at “boost clockspeed” 1395MHz.
From a performance standpoint, the GTX 1650 appears to be about 24% more powerful than the last-generation Pascal-powered GTX 1050 Ti. Regarding framerates, one of the images seems to suggest that the GPU – in combination with the other components – will keep framerates in the majority of titles above 60 fps. Possibly at Full HD resolution. Next, there is the Intel Core i7-9750H CPU. Again, the slide itself does not share many details about the specifications, apart from the performance improvements of the latest generation Core i7-8750H.
At this time, no official information has been released about the GeForce GTX 1650 from NVIDIA.
