Ubuntu 19.04: Canonical releases a new version of its popular GNU / Linux distribution every six months , and the next one will ship on April 18, 2019 .
But if you want to get an early taste, the Ubuntu 19.04 beta is available for download.
While Ubuntu 19.04 is a relatively small release, it includes several bug fixes and performance improvements . It is also the first version of Ubuntu to use the recently released Linux 5.0 kernel, and the default Yaru theme has been updated with better icons for third-party applications.
GNOME 3.32 is included in this latest version of the operating system. However , there are also alternative desktop environments, such as Kubuntu (KDE), Lubuntu (LXQt), Xubuntu (Xfce), Ubuntu MATE (MATE), Ubuntu Budgie (Budgie) and UbuntuKylin (for Chinese language users).

There is also a new version of Ubuntu Studio, which comes with tools for producing or editing audio, video, and images.
