Ever since EVGA released its first cooling kit for the GTX 980 to great acclaim, the company has continued to release similar kits for all sorts of graphics cards. This year will be no exception, as the EVGA HYBRID kits for the RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 have just been released for $169.99.
Every year, significant improvements are made to the products. Last year, a different reinforced plate was added for the cooling pump, while this year the option of asynchronous fan control via Precision X has been added.
While the performance you will get with an RTX 2080 is better than what you will get with an RTX 2070 and the EVGA Kit, for PC enthusiasts it is a must have. It should be noted here that while the kit is compatible with the EVGA RTX 2080 and Founder editions, NOT compatible with the Founder editions of the RTX 2070.
