Apple announced a series of changes to macOS at WWDC 2018. Among the changes will be updates to the Mac App Store, which will be supported by various software companies.
One of them is Microsoft, as it will release Office 365 on the Mac App Store, making it easier for users to download the productivity suite to their computers.
While many believe this move by Microsoft is not smart at all, as it makes its products available to third-party platform customers, it is part of the company's new strategy. With this release, Apple will be able to easily install Office 365 with one click, which could increase customers for Microsoft.

Of course, the "feelings" are mutual, as in 2017 Apple announced the release of a special version of iTunes for the Microsoft Store, which essentially makes it easier for iPhone users to sync their devices with Windows 10 PCs.
This special version of iTunes was finally released this year, offering the same features as the desktop version of the app. Additionally, Windows 10 users in S Mode can sync their iPhones with their PCs.
In addition to Office 365, the Mac App Store will also feature other top software products, including Adobe Lightroom CC.
