Microsoft out a hugely important update to the default Mail app in Windows 10 that brings improvements to support for digital signatures.
The new feature comes with version 17.9226.21485.0 and is available to both insiders and users who have Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
Until now, the signature feature in the Mail app allowed users to add text and nothing more, but with this update, the Windows 10 app behaves just like any other more advanced email client.
In other words, you can create a digital signature that you can change the font, dimensions, and colors of, and that includes images and links. The new signature UI opens in a dedicated window, unlike the previous settings that opened in a flyout.
Mail is receiving updates at a faster rate than in the past, and Microsoft seems to be investing heavily in adding new features that could bring it in line with third-party email clients.
The worrying thing about the case is that recent reports claim that Microsoft has been reviewing the development of various Windows 10 core apps, and the Mail app was one of those that was blacklisted.
However, all these improvements prove otherwise, as the Mail app gains features that make it a more powerful app that users can trust.
