Right after releasing the new major software update iOS 11 supported for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Apple has released another update for the Apple Music app for Android bringing some new features.
In case you don't remember, there is an Apple Music app for Android devices, and the latest version that arrived today on the Google Play Store promised to add some cool new additions, among which we can mention voice search functionality and a recently played widget that shows you the most recent music you listened to.
The updated Apple Music app for Android also introduces new features that allow users to discover music with their friends by creating a profile from their existing Facebook or Twitter account. Essentially, you'll be able to follow your friends' music choices and share your playlists with them.
How do you activate this feature? Press and hold the Home button or say “Ok Google” to start playing artists, albums, and songs in Apple Music. Through the new profile, you can share all your selections with your friends.
Another new feature in the update allows users to start a new search or quickly switch to the radio by holding down the Apple Music icon.
Note that various other minor bug fixes have been added to this release.
Apple Music 2.2.0 for Android is currently available from the Google Play Store and can be installed on phones or tablets running Android 4.3 or later.
