Nokia 8: on July 31 + press render

The latest leaks about the Nokia 8 come from VentureBeat's Even Blass. This time, it looks like we're seeing official press renders of the upcoming Android smartphone.

Rumors about the Nokia 8 began at the beginning of the year, when it was first reported that it would be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display supporting Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), and a 24 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and Super EIS.Nokia 8

The image below shows the Nokia 8 device, which HMD Global will unveil later this month, on July 31st.

The smartphone appears to feature a 5.3-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560×1440, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. It will be available in two variants of 4GB and 6GB of RAM.

The Nokia 8 is said to run on Google's latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat mobile operating system. It will feature a 13MP dual camera with Carl Zeiss optics and will be available in at least four colors: Blue, Steel, Gold Blue, and Gold Copper, according to WinFuture.

The device could cost around 589 euros, according to a Scandinavian sales company that recently listed the Nokia 8 model on its website.

Considering that the device will be officially released in two weeks, we should expect the official announcement of the Nokia 8's features from HDM Global itself soon.
