The popular web content management system (CMS) WordPress has just been upgraded to version 4.8. WordPress version 4.8 is named William John “Bill” Evans after the famous Jazz singer and composer.
The new version brings new features as well as old ones: link improvements, three new multimedia widgets covering images, audio, and video, an updated widget that supports visual editing.
Version 4.8 also brings an upgraded news section to your dashboard that will better present upcoming WordPress events.
For more information about this enhancement and bug fix release, read the WordPress Blog and see the Changelog for version 4.8.
