The new awards were announced on February 1, 2017, and concern two different Bitdefender. The well-known testing institute AV Test awarded the “Best Performance of 2016” award and the “Best Security App for Android of 2016” award to the two respective Bitdefender products.
For corporate users, the award went to Bitdefender Endpoint Security, while the award for best security product for Android went to Bitdefender Mobile Security.
The Bitdefender Mobile Security security app managed to achieve the maximum score of 13 points in every test during the testing period.
The Android app, in addition to receiving top scores in real-time malware detection as well as top results in detecting malware that was unknown, also contains a wide range of useful features, such as parental controls, and various security mechanisms in case the device is lost or stolen.
BitDefender Endpoint Security, on the other hand, proved in all 2016 certification tests that it can protect any company, using minimal system resources.
The six tests conducted in 2016 concluded with excellent results in terms of performance and protection offered by Bitdefender. In daily administrative routines, the test systems were not slowed down by Endpoint Security, and the product was able to achieve remarkable results in both the performance and usability test categories.
So the company seems to be starting 2017 with the best recommendations and will certainly have every reason to be proud of it.
