Temptations recently introduced the Catterbox, the first cat collar that claims to translate your pet's meows into human speech.
The Catterbox uses a digital sensor to detect meows. Then, thanks to a special translation program, you can hear what your cat wants to tell you in human language through the device's speaker.
The story seems to be either a belated April Fool's Day prank or a good publicity stunt since the company deals with cat food. There are four videos on YouTube to verify the device and there is also a corresponding website from the company's "laboratory", temptationlab.
This isn't even the first time someone has tried to translate cat to human. In 2007, a Japanese company created the Meowlingual Cat.
