Apple is preparing the new iPhones that will be released at the end of 2015, but rumors cannot agree on what Cupertino will finally name the new devices: iPhone 6s or iPhone 7.
We've seen many different conflicting rumors, but the one that saw the light of day today states that the devices will be called the iPhone 6s.
KGI Securities, and Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, gave us a ton of information about Apple's upcoming products today.
According to the publication, Apple will release two devices this year, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. KGI also notes that Apple will not release a 4-inch plastic version of the iPhone 6s this year, dismissing rumors that it will launch a new generation iPhone 5c.
The information indicates that the iPhone 6s will have a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 6s Plus will have a 5.5-inch display.
Both devices will be powered by Apple's A9 chipset (said to be manufactured by Samsung) and will come with 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM, with a 12MP camera.
To avoid another #bendgate scandal, Apple will use Series 7000 aluminum, which is said to be 60% stronger than today's metal standards. Once again, rumors have it that the new iPhone will come with Sapphire glass.
However, KGI predicts that only a special limited edition iPhone 6s Plus will use this material. Apple will also release a gold device similar in color to the $15,000 Apple Watch Edition.
The Apple analyst also says that in order to maintain the Apple Pay service, Cupertino needed to improve TouchID.
Production of both models will begin at the end of August.
