As you probably know, Google has already officially announced the new version of the Android operating system, Android L (5.0 – Lollipop), thus bringing a new design (and more) to our Smartphones.
So you too can now download and install the basic Android L applications on your device, such as Launcher, Wallpapers, Keyboard, etc. Portuguese Marco Marinho in a Topic on XDA Developers uploaded all the applications we need to install to get a taste of this new version.
Attention, I would like to point out that a basic requirement before we proceed further is that your device must be ROOT. It is also important before we make the slightest change to our mobile, to proceed with a Backupat the current stage, so that in case you get stuck somewhere or something goes wrong, you do not find yourself in a dead end.
Some of the applications below are in .apk format so you simply copy them to your phone's memory and install them, while others are in .zip format. You will need to flash them with a Recovery (only if you are ROOT).
- Google Now Launcher
- Wallpapers
- Google Keyboard (Uninstall the previous one before going through this one)
- Google Play Store
- Google Play Services
- Fonts
- Boot animation
- Media Audio
- Google Play Music
- Google Fitness
- Google Camera
- Google Wallet
Note: Before flashing the .zip file from the keyboard, you must uninstall the old one and install the new one as a system application. Most of them are in .apk format with simple installation.
