Discovery Channel has officially released an app for Windows 8, allowing you to watch its episodes without having to close the Modern UI.
“Watch thousands of clips and full episodes from Discovery Channel. Series like Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush, MythBusters, and many more! Download the new Discovery Channel app to take Discovery with you wherever you go!” the app description states.
In addition to full episodes, the application also has a service that will show you the channel's schedule, so you will know when your favorite series or a favorite documentary will be aired.
Of course, Discovery Channel can be installed not only on the desktop version of Windows 8, but also on tablets with Windows RT.
