Edge's new Snooze feature

Aggiornamentilumia.it has discovered that Microsoft is testing a new feature called Snooze in its Edge browser on mobile devices. The feature will allow users to create reminders when loading specific web pages and remind them at a later time to view the page or share it with their contacts.

This feature will be integrated directly into the Edge browser and it appears to be linked to Cortana, so it is not yet known what will happen if some users do not have their personal digital assistant enabled.

While the name Snooze doesn't seem to make much sense at the moment, keep in mind that this feature is still in its early stages. Microsoft is still experimenting with various improvements that it will then implement in the final version, which is expected to be released in 2017.

For now, it seems like the company is working hard to get it ready for the upcoming preview build that will be part of the Windows Insider program, but it's not yet clear whether it will be included in the next release. A new build is expected to be released this week for both PCs and mobile devices, which will also include a fix for a bug that was causing Wi-Fi on some devices.

This feature will be integrated directly into the Edge browser and it appears to be linked to Cortana, so it is not yet known what will happen if some users do not have their personal digital assistant enabled.
