Venice : BlackBerry 's new product is the company's first smartphone with the Android operating system . The new phone is called Venice , and according to leaked photos, it is a slider with a sliding keyboard and will be available through the AT&T sales network in the US.
The leaked photos show the new phone that has a lot in common with the BlackBerry Passport. The difference is that the new smartphone runs the Android.
Other features that are rumored to feature in the new smartphone are the 5.4-inch diagonal screen, 1440×2560 resolution, and a hexa-core processor. The Venice will be rather curved and may resemble that of the Galaxy S6 Edge , and the RAM will have a capacity of 3GB, and as for the cameras, it will have an 18-megapixel resolution for the rear camera and a 5-megapixel for the front.
According to Phone Arena, the Venice will not be the first model of the famous company to run Android, as another model called Prague is expected to be released in August. This model will probably not have a QWERTY but a touchscreen like the BlackBeryy Z3.
