The hacker with the nickname LamogioHunt3r who occupied the day of the referendum by hitting a well-known high-traffic news website continues his attacks on high-profile targets
LamogioHunt3r (ed. Lamogio Hunter according to the explanation) has currently carried out an attack against the well-known news website SKAI.GR
The attacker, in an anonymous message sent to the website's editors via a well-known anonymous e-mail service, states that he gained full access to the SKAI.GR server and posted a specific message.
In his message he states precisely the following (we quote it without any alteration):

The hacker has currently changed ONLY the internal page of the server as you can see here: https://www.skai.gr/lamogio.aspx and also in the Screenshot below:
LamogioHunt3r also sent a relevant explanatory Screenshot from his terminal as proof of his claims (ed. we see that he used the well-known Kali Linux distribution) where he appears to have gained access to a Hosting company that provides services to the news website. It is not clear whether he exploited a weakness in the website or the server, something that is not clarified in the message sent.
SKAI.GR is among the websites with the highest traffic in Greece, which makes the attack particularly significant, since we cannot estimate its dimensions beyond what LamogioHunt3r said. Many times, attacks, mainly on foreign websites with high traffic, have been used to spread malware or trojans, which certainly does not seem to be the case in this particular case.
LamogioHunt3r has been extremely public in recent days. We believe that the message he is sending, that he has not tampered with the Server in the slightest, corresponds to the reality according to his statement, although we cannot say this with certainty and it must be checked IMMEDIATELY by the authorities. But certainly in such moments, logic and cooperation must prevail.
The responsible administrators must immediately check the above allegations, inform the Hosting company, and immediately proceed with a check of the affected servers.
