Benchmarks from the well-known SiSoft Sandra performance measurement program for Intel processors with Skylake architecture have been leaked
The SiSoft Sandra program is used for estimating performance benchmarks on graphics cards, processors, and other PC subsystems.
Skylake processors are expected in late 2015 or early 2016, as Broadwell processors were expected in the coming months before this series.
In the benchmark results leaked from the SiSoft Sandra database and published by HWBot, it appears that the Skylake sample under test is clocked at 2.3GHz, while it is “plugged” into an Asus motherboard with DDR3 and DDR3L memory.
Obviously it is quite early, however it is a sample of what we can roughly expect from the new architecture. The memory bandwidth of the integrated graphics card in GPGPU benchmarks looks promising compared to the Broadwell.
Finally, the XTU benchmark from Intel, is “ready” and is awaiting the launch of Skylake.
