We have been hearing for a long time the rumors that HTC is preparing an action camera in the style of... GoPro, however now we have the first photos in the public. It appears that it is called RECamera and the material that reveals it to us comes from a Reddit user who discovered it on HTC's official site. In appearance it looks like a small plastic housing.
The company itself has already released a teaser video for its new proposal that will be unveiled at an official event on October 8 in New York. It also shows shots underwater, which means it will probably be waterproof, and it will support slow-mo video.
Sure, the competition with the GoPros that dominate the space won't be easy, however we expect to see HTC's proposal officially for more.
