A new mobile phone at a very affordable price is being promoted by the software and high-tech company Mozilla, which also owns the well-known search engine Firefox. The “smart” phone from Mozilla, which is currently available in the Indian market and costs just $ 33 (25 euros), is called the Intex Cloud FX. In addition, it will be possible to acquire it through the online store Snapdeal. According to the BBC and the international analysts of the telecommunications industry, which it cites, the Indian market is also the fastest growing in terms of penetration and sale of “smart” mobile phones.
In a statement, the Mozilla group explained the following: “With the launch of the Intex Cloud FX, we aim to massively motivate consumers to acquire a “smart” mobile phone, spending the same amount of money they would have on a conventional mobile device.” The new “smart” mobile phone is expected to enter Western markets in the near future, where it will compete with the more expensive mobile phones from Samsung and Apple and other manufacturers.
