A young girl in Syria tragically died when a court sentenced her to death by stoning for making the crime a reality on a popular social media platform.
The court in the city of Al-Reqqa considered the behavior of the girl, who is referred to in local media as Fatoum Al-Jassem, without however stating her age, immoral, and decided to impose on her the same penalty as is prescribed in cases of adultery.
As reported by Etnos, the girl was dragged to court by soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) when she was caught using Facebook.
