November 5th is "Guy Fawkes Day", the day on which Anonymous hacktivists and activists from around the world participate in various demonstrations.
According to a report by Softpedia, the famous Turkish hacktivists “RedHack” and the world-famous “Anonymous” will collaborate for the November 5thprotest .
The operation has been dubbed “Operation Direnis(#OpDirenis)”, which means resistance in Turkish. Interestingly, they claim that there will be no tampering, data leakage or other types of cyber attacks.
The initiators of the operation stated: “ Anonymous and RedHack do not rely solely on breaches, leaks, or exposing corrupt officials. The focus of both groups is activism, where protest and rebellion are not an act of chaos or anarchy, but of justice, truth, and freedom.”
