A news a little different from what we are used to. An activity that is slowly making its appearance in our country, with more and more people participating in its events, has come to the attention of SecNews in recent weeks. Its name: Base Jumping.
The editors of SecNews were introduced to it by our very good friends at the other reliable technology site “secnews.gr”. Base Jumping has thousands of fanatic fans all over the world, where groups of friends choose high altitude locations to make their fall while a few meters above the ground, their path is interrupted by the portable parachute they wear. Adrenaline at Maximum!
The name BASE comes from the acronyms of possible points where the fall can take place, such as Bridges, Antennas, Skyscrapers and Earth .
In Greece there are numerous places where one can base jump, while many foreign enthusiasts of the genre come to Greece exclusively for this reason, advertising our country. Of course, all necessary safety measures must always be taken and the aspiring base jumper must be accompanied by experts in the genre who will provide him with guidance and relevant training.

SecNews supports the Base Jumping activity and congratulates its organizers and especially the guys at secnews.gr. So gadgets and technological news are good, but as our friends from secnews.gr (admittedly in a slightly extreme way of course), outdoor activity doesn't hurt 🙂
