Anker , through its Soundcore brand, is expanding its line of portable projectors with a new all-in-one model that allows you to detach a pair of built-in speakers and place them exactly where you want them. The Nebula P1 offers similar functionality and flexibility to the Nebula X1 Pro introduced at IFA 2025, but in a much smaller size, weighing just 2.4 kg instead of 32.7. It is now available on Anker’s online store for $799 and on Amazon with a limited-time discount that reduces the price to $719 . Delivery is expected in mid-October 2025.

While the full retail price for the larger Nebula X1 Pro is $5,000, the smaller Nebula P1 isn't quite as capable. It's limited to 1080P resolution and 650 ANSI lumens of brightness from its LED light source. You'll need a very dark room to achieve the 180-inch projection that Anker says is possible with the P1.
Setup should be fairly easy with autofocus, automatic keystone , and a built-in gimbal with 130-degree movement that lets you adjust the angle of the projector. However, if you're planning a backyard screening, you'll need to purchase an extension cable. The P1's detachable 10W speakers, which connect to the projector via Bluetooth, offer up to 20 hours of battery life each, but the projector itself doesn't have its own power source.

Anker continues to innovate in the field of portable projectors, offering solutions that combine ease of use with high image and sound quality. The Nebula P1, with its small size and flexibility, is an ideal choice for those looking for a projector that can adapt to their needs, whether for indoor presentations or outdoor events. The ability to detach the speakers and place them in different locations provides a unique sound experience that can be tailored to the user's preferences.
Furthermore, the price of the Nebula P1 makes it affordable compared to other models on the market, while also offering the basic functions a user needs to enjoy a quality projection. Anker appears to have found the sweet spot between price and performance, making the Nebula P1 an excellent choice for those who want to invest in a portable projector without sacrificing quality.
