The OTE Group Telecommunications Museum celebrates World Telecommunications Day (17/05) and International Museum Day (18/05), with free activities and tours for young and old. The activities will take place inside and outside the Museum, from Thursday, May 16 to Sunday, May 19, 2024, and will include, among others, group tours of fully renovated exhibition spaces , STEM workshops and theatrical performances.
Inspired by this year's message of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) "Museums for Education and Research", the Museum's programs aim to promote the perception of a sustainable and inclusive world, where education and research are connected to entertainment, personal expression and co-creation.
In the new educational room on the 2ndfloor ,the Museum will host STEM workshops in Robotics and Engineering.At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to be guided through the history of telecommunications, from antiquity to the modern digital world.
For another year, the OTE Group Telecommunications Museum will visit the Eleusis Love Center and the SOS Children's Villages to bring children, through group games, closer to the world of the museum and introduce them to the ways of communication in antiquity.

The OTE Group Telecommunications Museum, for 34 years, has been preserving the cultural heritage of the country's telecommunications. Today, the Collections are constantly being enriched and exceed 37,000 objects and archival material (maps, telephotos, telephone devices, Morse telegraphs, telephotos, rare telegrams, telephone booths, analog telephone exchanges, wireless satellite and mobile communications, a 1960s television studio, 70,000 architectural plans of OTE buildings).
