And now, another top executive, Tang Tan, the head of design for the iPhone and Apple Watch, is reportedly set to leave.
The move has led to an internal “reorganization of the company’s most critical product lines.” Tan is currently reporting to John Ternus, Apple’s vice president of hardware.

The details of the immediate replacement are unclear, but Tan’s responsibilities at Apple will be transferred to different individuals. “Several Ternus and Tan members will take on expanded roles as part of these changes.
There are reports of Tan's significant contributions to iPhones, Apple Watch accessories, and the company. This situation represents a significant loss for the Cupertino tech giant.
Notably, this follows the imminent departure of another key Apple figure, Steve Hotelling, best known for his role in Touch ID on iPhones over the past decade. He is reportedly responsible for hundreds of Apple patents and has played a central role in the creation of the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. His role at Apple is to take charge of engineering issues, such as displays, health sensors and biometric features, such as Face ID. He also takes on the role of vice president of the company.
