Since then, the company has been on a roll, updating its top-of-the-line Galaxy phones to the latest version of Android. In addition to the Galaxy S23, Samsung has updated the Galaxy S22, S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9, Z Fold 5, and even the mid-range Galaxy A54 to Android 14. The Galaxy S21 Android 14 was released just before Black Friday, though it's currently only available in select European countries. The FWK2 firmware is around 2.3GB in size and includes the security . You can check if the update is available in your region by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung has been running a One UI 6 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series since late September, allowing users to get a first taste of Android 14 before its public release. If your phone was enrolled in the beta program, you would have likely received an OTA update.

The update for the Galaxy S21 was impressive, but Samsung isn't resting on its laurels. Now, Android 14 has been released for the budget Galaxy A14 5G. The new build, weighing in at 1.8GB and codenamed CWK9, is available in India and brings the core One UI 6.0 to the device. While this build is more streamlined and optimized for lower hardware requirements, Galaxy A14 owners can still enjoy the core features of One UI 6 on their phones.

It's great to see Samsung upgrade one of the most affordable phones in its lineup to Android 14 within a few months of the operating system's public release . From now on, the Galaxy A14 becomes the only budget phone on the market running Android 14.
