Meta 's micro -blogging platform Threads has released new useful features to make the user experience even better!
According to Instagram head Adam Mosseri, Threads users can now customize alt text for videos and photoswhen posting from the web. Additionally, it’s possible to copy and paste (or drag and drop) media into your post. Another interesting feature is the ability to add multiple posts to a thread before publishing.
Additionally, users will now be able to see quotes and reposts by clicking on likes or views on a post.

"We hope these will make it easier to join conversations from the web. Try them out and let us know if there are other features you'd like to see," Mosseri wrote on Threads.
Two other new features were also recently added. Meta's CEO announced the ability to post GIFs and polls. These features are currently available on the web.
Previously, users had to use third-party keyboards or copy/paste from other sources to post GIFs in the app. But now there’s a built-in GIF button in the post creation window. It’s located next to the image collection button and allows users to easily access a GIPHY library. Users can search and choose from a variety of GIFs for posts .

Regarding polls, Adam Mosseri said: “With polls, you can invite others to vote on topics you care about. And now it’s easier to find and add the right GIF to express how you feel.”
Polls can have up to four options, and you can control who can respond to them. The poll will be open for 24 hours , and only those who participated in it will be able to see the results. The poll button will appear as three horizontal lines in the post-creation toolbar.

The new features added to Threads improve its functionality in many ways. They allow users to customize the look and experience of Threads to their liking. With the addition of GIFs and polls, they can express themselves better and make their posts more interesting.
Meta’s Threads app launched in July and managed to reach 5 million sign-ups in the first four hours of its launch and 10 million in the first seven hours. Meta introduced the new platform by describing it as a based chat app text- . Threads was created to compete with X (formerly Twitter). Operating as a text- based messaging and social networking app, Threads allows users to quickly share messages that can be liked, shared, and commented on .
