Meta is starting to offer a new feature for Edit Button and creating “Voice Threads” on the Threads, as announced by Mark Zuckerberg.

There are two major new features for Meta's growing X-like social network. On Threads, you won't have to pay a subscription to be able to edit your posts for five minutes after they're published, unlike X (formerly Twitter), which requires a subscription.
Posts submitted for editing will have a small icon next to the timestamp, indicating that they have been revised. Viewing the edit history is not possible, an option that X retains in relation to Threads. According to Meta spokesperson Christine Pai, for now she does not intend to add this feature.

However, I have to give Meta credit for the fact that it only took a few months to introduce an Edit Button, not years. Twitter added the editing feature as a perk for its monthly subscription, previously called Twitter Blue, in October 2022, just before Elon Musk took over the company.
I was able to make a voice post on Threads. While composing a new post on the iOS, I tapped a button to access the voice recording interface, and then I was able to tap a red button to record my voice. In the post itself, you can hear what I said (“This is a voice post on Threads”), and as voice , the text of what I said is highlighted in the post. Very interesting! (Twitter introduced audio tweets in 2020, and captions for those tweets more than a year later.)

Meta has continued to add new features to Threads since the summer, including a chronological watch feed, a web client, and the ability to search for posts.
