You can customize a Contact Poster with photos and emojisto make your calls more personalized, special, and engaging. The Poster appears on the recipient's iPhone. It also becomes part of your contact card in the Contacts app.

With the introduction of Contact Posters, iOS 17 brings a new design to the Contacts app. When viewing a contact, their picture, Memoji , or initials now take up more of the screen. This also applies to contacts with pictures.

- Open the Contacts app on your iPhone
- Locate and tap your own name within the app
- In your contact information, click on the option “Contact Photo & Poster“
- Tap “Edit” and then select “Customise”.

- If you want, you can adjust the font, style, and color to match the image you've chosen.
- Swipe across the Poster to see the various filters (black and white, duotones, and other colors).
- Once you have done the above and completed the Contact Poster, tap “Done” to see a preview of what the recipient will see when you call them. If you are satisfied, tap “Continue”

Tips for creating Contact Posters in iOS 17
Choose who you want to share the contact poster with
You can choose who you want to share your Contact Poster with. So, if you call someone who doesn't have your number in contacts , you can decide whether you want the poster to appear or not. To do this, tap Phone > Contacts tab > My Card > Contact Photo & Poster > Tap Name & Photo Sharing > choose between Contacts Only and Always Ask.
Use vertical photos
Think about how your Contact Poster appears. It's best to use vertical photos where possible, and crop them to fill the screen.
Use the portrait mode
Try taking a photo using Portrait Mode on your iPhone's camera to make your image even better.
